The Summer Round Up Run Course— Always a surprise.
The Summer Round Up Trail Run® has always had it all—a spectacular setting, a beautiful trail, competition in almost every age-group, excellent runner
support, unique awards and great shirts. Simply, this is one of the most
beautiful and challenging trail race venues anywhere!
And unlike many of those other races out there that do the same thing each year, the Summer Roundup has earned the nickname of “the mystery course run,” due to the many course changes in it’s fifteen year history, we now have one more iteration of what has become a local favorite.
Clear, dry weather is the norm with temperatures at the start usually is in
the low 60’s. But once the race starts, the temperature can quickly rise
into the 70’s and low 80’s due to the lack
of shade. There are numerous aid stations on the course so you can get water and/or Gatorade at almost every mile.
